The YEIDA RPS08A scheme, also called the Diwali Plot Scheme 2024, is a residential plot offering by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) focused on small plots near Noida International Airport.

This scheme, YEIDA Housing Scheme 2024 launched on October 31, 2024, provides 821 plots in Sector 24A for individuals interested in building residential properties close to the upcoming infrastructure hub near the airport. It is aimed primarily at residents of Noida who meet certain eligibility criteria, such as age requirements and residency status, with specific conditions for joint applications among immediate family members.

The application process is fully online and requires a fee, valid documentation, and payment through YEIDA’s online platform. The application window is open until November 30, 2024, and a lucky draw will decide allotments on December 27, 2024.

  • Application period: The application window opened on October 31, 2024 and will close on November 30, 2024.  
  • Draw date: The plot allotment draw will be held on December 27, 2024.  
  • Plot sizes: The scheme offers plots in four sizes: 120 sqm, 162 sqm, 200 sqm, and 250 sqm.  
  • Land rate: The land rate for the residential plot is ₹25,900 per sq. m.  
  • Allotment: The allotment will be done by manual draw.  
  • Possession: The authority will offer possession of allotted plots after completion of development, which is approximately five years.  
  • Construction: Allottees will have to get construction done after getting the building plan sanctioned.  
  • Eligibility: Applicants must be 18 years or older, a citizen of India, and not own any plot or residential property under the jurisdiction of YEIDA

Also, The Noida International Airport is expected to commence commercial operations on April 17, 2025. This new airport, planned as a major aviation hub, will initially operate with one terminal and one runway, supporting 30 daily flights, including domestic, international, and cargo services.

The first phase of the airport is designed to handle up to 12 million passengers annually, with future expansion plans aiming for a capacity of 70 million passengers per year as additional phases and runways are completed.
